Position: Website Administrator and Services Coordinator (National Office)

Status: Full-time, Independent Contract Duration: July 27 – December 18, 2015 (21 weeks with possibility for renewal)

Location: Montréal

Reporting: To the National Executive Director

ABOUT CULTURE DAYS

Founded in 2009, Culture Days is a non-profit organization that raises the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. Culture Days is dedicated to building a national network of cultural connections devoted to providing Canadians with opportunities to participate in, and appreciate, all forms of arts and culture. Through an annual three-day national event that takes place in some 900 Canadian cities and towns each September, hundreds of thousands of artists and cultural organizations come together and invite Canadians to participate in free interactive and “behind the scenes” activities to discover their cultural spirit and passion. To support its mission, Culture Days provides support and a range of best practice and knowledge sharing tools, resources and training programs to a wide variety of artists and cultural organizations and produces an annual National Congress on Culture a different Canadian city each year. MANDATE SUMMARY

The Website Administrator and Services Coordinator manages the national website and supports the implementation and evaluation of the annual Culture Days weekend campaign, annual National Congress on Culture and related activities and programs. To fulfill the mandate, she/he coordinates a diversity of services to ensure the smooth functioning of the national office’s activities and operations. Responsibilities include the daily management of the national website, managing the annual activity registration campaign and related customer service, and ensuring coordination with and support of provincial teams. The Website Administrator and Services Coordinator also plays a supporting role with key vendors and partners and ensures fluid coordination of online content production, information and data flow.
