Oil Painting Demonstration and DisscusionDwight, Ontario
Arts visuels — Coup d’œil en coulisse , Discussion
Weather permitting, Lynne Hollingsworth will be doing an outdoor acrylic painting demonstration sharing her favourite tips, some online resources and also some of her recommendations for reference materials. Seating will be on the lawn. Weather permitting.
My art depicts a constant fascination with the visible world around me, a world in which we tend to move so rapidly, so distractedly, so fleetingly, we seldom see with our heart what lies before us. My purpose is to take that fleeing moment, capture it, and invite you to feel it, and explore it, enjoy it, be moved by it, experience it.

En cas de pluie :
From Huntsville ON, by following Hwy 60 towards Ottawa, to Hwy 35 towards Dorset. When you reach the famous Dorset Tower on the right before you reach Main street exit, you will see the Nordic Inn on the left--take that Nordic Inn road as far as it goes. (not far) and take a sharp hairpin left at the end--you are now on Livingstone Lake Road, and again, we are #1059, just past a workshop on the left called EVERWOOD Timberworks We can be reached via HWY 117 out of Baysville, which exits off HWY 11 north of Bracebridge. Take Hwy 117 to Hwy 35, turning left towards the hamlet of Dorset. Past the exit for Main Street on the left, you will soon see Kawagama Lake Road that exits to the right. Follow that briefly (1 min?) until Kawagama Lake Road turns off to the sharply to the right, and keep going straight instead of turning. You are now on Livingstone Lake Road (Haliburton road 12) and less than one minute from that intersection, is #1059 on the left.
